Mar. 14th, 2015 09:55 pmAfter the awkward kiss, Laura avoids Peter and she suspects he is avoiding her too. There are times she thinks she hears his footsteps and catches his scent, but when she turns down the corridor he is not there.

Laura does not have a straight answer to her own question and she does not trust anyone enough to confide in them. She tries to push the emotions to the back of her mind, but they keep rearing up. Time passes, and her Christmas present to Peter sits on the shelf in her room, she sees it every time she enters the room.
She argues with Noriko, she trains with Gambit and remains unsettled as she can't escape the fact that she misses Peter's company. He is her friend there are aspects about life on the ship that she wishes to share with him.
Nearly two months later, she takes the Christmas present off the shelf and walks down to Peter's room. She hesitates outside his door, tempted to leave the wrapped picture frame outside the door. Three minutes late she knocks the door.
